Four teens arrested following cycle thefts |

|
Officers have made four arrests in connection with cycle thefts in Costessey and Taverham. The first incident occurred on 23 August 2025 in which a bicycle was stolen from a communal stairwell on Bottom Breck Close, Costessey. On the 23 and 24 September 2025, a total of four bicycles were stolen from Beech Avenue, outside Taverham High School. Investigations were launched into the incidents- CCTV reviews and local enquiries led to four teenagers being arrested on suspicion of pedal cycle thefts, the latest arrest occurring last Wednesday (29 October). All four teenagers have been bailed with bail conditions, pending further enquiries. Conditions include curfews, not to enter specified locations, not to contact each other and not to be in possession of any pedal cycles. | ||
